Park Guell is a huge place, with fantastic views and all the charm of Gaudí. Getting lost is easy, and besides, you have three possible entrances; it doesn’t have just one single entrance. To make sure you don’t get lost, I will send you a map with the exact location where you will do the proposal so you don’t miss it.

The most common thing is to do the proposal at the Plaza de la Natura, the sunniest and most open square in the entire park. Here are some important tips: unless you go as soon as the park opens, you will encounter quite a few people. You will have to “wait in line” until it’s your turn for the perfect spot—that spot with imposing views of Barcelona where you’ll be surrounded by the iconic colorful mosaics of the square’s benches. It’s the perfect place, but make sure to have a space as clear as possible. If you have to wait, wait, but don’t stand too close to other people because it will be impossible later to remove people from the photo and have it look good. This can be done perfectly, but the most important thing is to have patience and wait in line.

If you are going to do it there, the most normal thing is that I will look like just another tourist taking photos with my camera. We will simply make eye contact, I’ll wait for you to wait in line, and that’s it! You’ll have the photos of that great moment in the wonderful Park Guell in Barcelona.

There are two or three other spots that can work, although to be honest, the best view is the one you have in the square. But you can do it at the Park Guell Laundry Room, which is an incredible area of slanted stone columns. You also have the giant columns of the Sala Hipóstila, a monumental site of large Doric columns. In these locations there are also people, but much fewer than you will find in the main square.

Whichever spot it is, consult me and I can help you choose the location you prefer. Keep in mind that Park Guell has entry by time slots; you don’t just buy a ticket and go at any time. You have to buy the exact time you are going to enter. If, for example, you buy for 15:30, don’t go at 17:00 because they won’t let you in. It’s true they are a bit flexible and let you in about 15-20 minutes before or after, but take into consideration that the ticket has a fixed time.

Lastly, and very importantly, Park Guell is not a public site, but a private one, and it charges for admission. You will have to buy a ticket for me as well so I can enter and take the photos! Currently, the price is €18 (January 2026); buy them on the official Park Guell website and be careful because there are other operators who charge a surcharge for the same ticket.
